This book shows how we can shape industrial economics and competition policy to be "evidence-based." Unlike in previous literature, the empirical studies required here are based on objectively verifiable descriptions of market processes that use operationalized control system models and historic market data. The discoordination diagnosis concept (KMD) presented here can be used to perform the relevant empirical analyses.
